Employees should perform their duties with honesty, dignity, integrity, and abide to the rules established in our code of conduct with regard to:

Company

and, they should watch that suppliers, subcontractors and participants in consortium operations behave in the same form.
 

 

CLIENTS
• Not induce our Clients into any type of error, or in additional costs in their own benefit or in that of the Company.
• Charge what has been strictly established as fair for each job performed.
• Always refer to the Client respectfully.
• Negotiate and transfer in the Client’s favor all discounts, commissions, prerogatives and benefits generated by any expense that can be reimbursed.
• Not spread information to Clients regarding projects, except a very general description such as area, total cost, and term of construction.
• Not receive any type of prerogative from a Client.
• Not contract directly any service from a Client.
• Provide the Client and its authorized representatives access under the protocol established to all accounting information and documentation in order to evidence faithful compliance with our values and those of this Behavior Code.

CONSULTANTS AND INSPECTORS
• Develop and promote teamwork at all times.
• Cooperate with them in everything possible to faithfully comply with their work.
• Not induce them into any type of error or permit that they make mistakes due to lack of information.
• Respect and faithfully comply with technical indications that may contribute to the quality of the projects and the needs established by the Client.
• Not carry out negotiations with the Consultant or Inspector without previous knowledge from the Client and the Company.
• Not give opinions or make comments regarding the Consultant or Inspector to justify his mistake or that of the company.
• Always refer to the Consultant and Inspector respectfully, even when not present.

SUBCONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS AND CONSORTIUMS
• Treat all the above as true “business partners”.
• Promote and develop teamwork so as to contribute to an excellent development of the project.
• Not benefit from evident errors, for his own benefit, or that of the Company or the Client.
• Faithfully protect all confidential information.
• Watch that all company’s payment obligations comply with terms established.
• Not accept gifts, prerogatives, or benefits above $50.oo per year.
• Declare to the Company’s Direction any kin relationship or friendship that may exist.

CO-WORKERS
• Work as a team, comply with objectives and support Co-Workers to comply with them.
• Use established communication channels to solve problems.
• Not use the position of command in exchange for any type of favors.
• Respect individual religious, sexual, cultural, and moral beliefs.

ENVIRONMENT
• Prefer the use of construction materials that do not deteriorate the environment.
• Watch that waste and garbage are disposed of in approved places.
• Use controlled forest timber for straight edges.
• Know and use chemicals in a rational form without deteriorating the environment.
• Not dump polluted waters in rivers or irrigation channels.
• Treat black and sewage waters in accordance with approved methods.
• Control erosion.
• Regulate advertising signs in such a way that they do not interfere with the landscape.

COMMUNITY
• Minimize the noise produced by construction equipment using adequate suppressors.
• Minimize the generation of dust at all times during construction.
• Maintain borders and accesses to the project clean, orderly, and safe.
• Respect neighbors and passers-by.
• Adequately protect the infrastructure and restore it, within the reasonable limits caused by the process of construction.

STATE INSTITUTIONS
• Timely comply with all applicable laws, by-laws, and regulations applicable to the construction and development of business.
• Pay all corresponding importation, selective, consumption, and sales taxes and duties.
• Pay all State obligations and services in time.
• Not pay commissions, benefits, gifts, invitations, or participate in businesses in exchange for special favor or treatment in their own benefit or in that of the Company, our Clients, or our project.

COMPANY
• Know and comply with established regulations, proceedings, and provisions.
• Not spread Company information that has not been expressly authorized and is under the corresponding protocol.
• Not give the mass media any type of information without approval from the Direction under the corresponding protocol.
• Not induce the Company deliberately to errors or omissions.
• Faithfully protect assets, tangible and intangible resources, and company documentation.
• Intellectual creation during working hours belongs exclusively to the company.

Non-compliance with this Behavior Code may imply disciplinary sanctions that could lead to dismissal from the Company.
